Harris or Trump? It doesn't matter

To Latinos living in the United States

Guatemala, November 6, 2024

Possibly by now we already know who is the winner of the elections in the United States is. For many this election is transcendental, for me not so much. Basically because I see that both candidates, their parties, policies and political thinking, represent more of the same: social plans, economic protectionism, public debt, inflation, fiat money, taxes, regulations, wars and sanctions.

The Democrats represent the values of the left, that is, disorder, injustice and oppression; while the Republicans, as Judge Andrew Napolitano rightly says, also do, but they are afraid to recognize it because they resemble those they say they hate, the Democrats. The Republican Party long ago abandoned the values of the genuine right: order, justice and freedom; and the means to obtain them: limited government, free markets and private property.

To the Latinos living there, especially the Guatemalans, my advice is not to create false expectations. To those who have the possibility to vote, I advise a null vote, a blank vote or even abstention, because evil is not fought with another evil, the “lesser evil.” Evil is fought with good, and good in terms of political offerings has not been present in the US political arena for a long time, at least since Dr. Ron Paul, a fusionist classical liberal, ran three times in the Republican Party primaries and was rejected three times.

While the winner is in sight and the typical ruse of the bad loser, electoral fraud, is overcome, I propose that we concentrate on creating the opportunities here for which our people migrate there. These conditions are achieved by moving to capitalism for all and activating the Return Operation to rebuild our homes.
